Existed A Transformational Midwife helps create the conditions in which transformation can occur. In every era of human history, in every culture across the world, there have been women who held this role - without a title, without a credential, often without recognition.
There were the ones people sought in the dark hours. The companions in grief, in transition, in becoming. The holders of what felt too heavy to carry alone. What we are doing here is not inventing something new. We are naming what has always existed - and giving it the formation, the language, and the ethical structure worthy of its importance. |

MONTHS 1-3
Phase One |
Foundation
"Before you can hold others, you must be held." The personal completion of the full Chrysalis Path is not a prerequisite to check off - it is the foundation of the entire formation. A Transformational Midwife must know the chrysalis from the inside. This phase is non-negotiable and is treated as sacred, not administrative. - Completion of Chrysalis Cohort™ - Passage through Butterfly Sovereignty™ - the threshold of personal belonging – Attendance at the Chrysalis Retreat - embodied, in-person immersion - Ongoing participation in an Emerging Chryssalis Circle |

Formation
"The curriculum of the soul and the craft." The core intellectual and spiritual formation of the Certified Transformational Midwife - where the five foundational frameworks are studied, practiced, and integrated. This is where the Midwife develops her mind, her methodology, and her ethical compass. CORE CURRICULUM INCLUDES

Apprenticeship
"The craft is learned in the container." This is the heart of what distinguishes this formation from every other certification. The apprenticeship grounds the credential in real containers, real women, and real transformation - not simulated scenarios. What is learned in Phase Two is now lived. APPRENTICESHIP INCLUDES • Observation - Shadowing in live Chrysalis Cohort as a sacred witness and learning presence • Co-Facilitation - Co-leading live sessions within a Chrysalis Cohort alongside a Certified Midwife • Retreat Apprenticeship - Attending a Chrysalis Retreat in an active facilitation support role • Supervised Practice - Individual reflective supervision with Niambi Jaha-Echols or senior Midwife • Capstone - Designing and facilitating one complete circle cycle, reviewed by senior Midwife |
The apprenticeship is what separates this credential from many coaching certifications on the market.
