Niambi Jaha-EcholsI’m Niambi — a spiritual doula trainer, facilitator, and author devoted to supporting birth workers and community healers in holding life’s most tender thresholds with steadiness, skill, and reverence. My work bridges nervous system regulation, trauma-responsive emotional support, and embodied equity, helping doulas, midwives, and perinatal support professionals become trustworthy anchors in high-stress environments shaped by collective strain, cultural tension, and systemic harm.
Through my Spiritual Doula Training, I equip practitioners to meet families with sacred presence, cultural humility, and practical tools for co-regulation, communication, and repair—without bypassing and without burnout. I’m grounded in the belief that birth is a profound life passage. My calling is to restore dignity, meaning, and relational safety across pregnancy, birth, postpartum, loss, and major transitions — strengthening the birth justice ecosystem by training spiritual doulas who can hold what many systems are not designed to hold: the emotional, relational, and spiritual dimensions of care.
